You’ve done your best to move on and push forward.
But lately… it’s not working.
Maybe you feel constantly on edge.
Maybe your thoughts keep circling the same event — and you can’t let it go.
Maybe you’ve stopped feeling like yourself — or worse, you’re afraid this version of yourself is permanent.
You feel disconnected, shut down, and irritable.
Your body feels like it’s in danger, even when you know you’re safe.
And you’re tired — not just tired of the stress, the sadness, the fear — but tired of feeling like you’ll always be this way.
Whether it’s anxiety, depression, or trauma — the real work of therapy is getting to the root.
The mind can knot up when something overwhelms you.
Maybe it was one acute moment — or maybe it was a series of quiet, accumulated hurts. Either way, your system never fully digested it. That knot stayed stuck. And over time, it began to affect everything.
But it can be untangled.
You start to trust yourself again — and the world around you.
You reconnect with others.
You stop organizing your life around what might go wrong.
You learn to protect yourself without having to disconnect from the people you love.
And most of all — you stop resisting what is, and find peace with it.
I grew up outside Philadelphia and eventually made my way back to Center City after years in Northern California and Washington, D.C. I’ve always been drawn to big questions — I majored in philosophy, fascinated by consciousness and the inner life — and I found in therapy a way to explore those questions while helping others make real, meaningful change.
My approach is grounded, warm, and authentic. I believe people are looking for genuine connection, and I try to offer that in every session. I blend talk therapy with Heart Assisted Therapy (HAT), a gentle but powerful method that helps untangle the mental knots that cause anxiety and depression. Clients often describe our work as both deep and light — a space for humor, insight, and healing.
